I put up a mini at Whiteface this sunday, I'm up providing moral suport for my wifes figure skating team this weekend and any maggots who want to freeze their ass off and keep me company on the probably empty slopes of 'Face are surely welcome. And if my presence wasn't enough to get you up to Placid, its a Super Sunday which means lift tickets are $35! Just ask for change at the Cloudsplitter

cantdog...the prob w/ the 17th is that's MLK weekend and it will be massively crowded. :-(

I'm going to be at Killington on the weekend of the 30th, and will probably be at K weekend of 2/6th also (probably skiing at Sugarbush 2/8 and 2/9). Would love to ski w/ any of you who are up then!

C-Dog a basic trip runthrough from Yahoo maps says @ 3 hours if you type directions for Killington VT to Wilmington NY personally I think its quicker then that as long as you can get thru the Rutland to the Northway part fairly quickly

I'll be working both the 17 and 18th so I'm out if it set for then.

    24 and 25 I'm free though.

Not so much a summit, but Magic Mountain is starting their discounting programs for certain states next week. NY, NJ and PA next Friday. $20 will get you sketchy conditions.

I am at Wildcat or Mt. Wash that weekend. You guys ever ski Sunday River? I am pretty locked in cause of the pass. I think the "other" Summit plans are still rolling along. Just need the exact dates. Vinzo said Mid march.

i'll try to make an EC summit whenever/wherever I can... gotta meet & ski with some maggots/minions one of these days

i finish at my day job officially around the 26th/27th, the weekend before I'm pretty sure I'll be somewhere in NH, family coming up from VA to ski.

phishme, let me know whenever you're headed to the river, that's pretty easy for me to do. skiing.guide @ about.com

I'd be down for sunday river, and I'll be at sugarloaf next weekend (not this one). I go to UNH, so any weekend in maine and I can be there. Preferably an ASC mountain since I have the pass. Oh, and anyone that needs a ride from the NH seacoast can hit me up if they need one.

definately sugarloaf over sunday river, especially if its going to be a weekend. Lets just wait a bit for some more snow, they arent doing too hot.

PhishinME, you might recognize me from the Sunday River board, which I enjoy tormenting those poor fools every chance I get

Hey NH guys, how about Cannon this weekend? We could hike over to Mittersill, maybe there are freshies to be found there.

This thread is a perfect example of why this may never really happen. Everyone just throwing around names and dates of where they're going to be, and no one agreeing on anything.
I'm really disenchanted with the idea of EC summits because after five or six tries there's never been one.
    So,
Let's work on MRG 1/24-25, OK? Who's in? Let's get AT LEAST 10 people committed to it.

I could do MRG on the 24th/25th if we get some people to commit.

So let's get this straight: 23-4th, or 30-2/1? Just vote and we'll go with numbers. It doesn't really make a difference to me (I know I can only do the Saturday in any case), so I'll go with the majority.

Well, I'll be in VT on the 30th. Not sure if I can make MRG though...was planning on heading to Pico that day or Magic's Conn. ski council day. Tix are only $20 if you're in a ski club. Anyone here ever been to Magic? How is it?

I'd prefer the 23/24, if it matters. I'm seeing Chris Rock on the 31st in NYC and then watching my Patriots win the Superbowl on Sunday so that weekend is a bit busy.

I'd say late Feb or Early March are good dates also since conditions are a bit hard right now.

In for 30-2/1. Have to work Friday so will get in late that night. Have we set a mountain? VT seems like the best choice to me to get heads from north and south.

If there are other mags leaving NYC on Friday we should ride together. Carpooling will also provide insurance against last-minute flakeouts.
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.
