    An East Coast Plea

On behalf of all the east coast maggots - I'm making a plea and asking all of the west coast maggots to share the wealth. With close to 100" in the last two weeks at some resorts (Alta I'm talking to you) we sure could use a little help.

Didn't your mothers teach you to share?

Two weeks of rain and warm weather- followed by sub zero temps have created that wonderful snow condition we call ice. Sure skiing in the east makes you strong and worthy but enough is enough already. Even Jay Peak is saying conditions stink.

Send some snow our way - pretty please.....

    Pray for snow.

This report is effective 5:00pm, Wednesday, January 7, 2004.

They don’t call us SNOW RIDGE for nothing. We’ve received a total of 34” of snow since Tuesday afternoon and we’re buried. Conditions for making snow are perfect and we’re making snow round the clock as well.

Snow Ridge will be open Thursday from 10am to 4pm with 3 lifts serving 15 trails. Because of sub-zero temperatures forecast for Thursday night, we will NOT be open for night skiing. We have a base of 10-40” and will be skiing and boarding on beautiful powder and a machine groomed surface.

Winter is definitely back and we still have plenty of time for some great skiing and boarding. Thank you for visiting www.SnowRidge.com and THANKS LAKE ONTARIO!!
