I highly doubt he was drinking 3.2 at a fundraiser. Pilsner Urquell is $10.00 a sixer here in JH, FWIW.

Cops should not have to chase everybody, when you do run, you lose some rights. They have to do this everyday, if everyone was a knucklehead, eventually they would all be on disability or worse.

At 35, the guy has few excuses. I just hope he makes bail so he does not miss out on any AK trips.

Doubtful that his bond on a felony evading charge would allow him to leave the state.

When Nobis is sober he can be really nice guy (even with his ego). It's just that he's not sober too often. One time the moron spilled a red drink all over my white carpet and was so wasted that he did not even realize he spilled the drink so he kept walking around with an empty cup. Then I asked him where his drink was and he had no clue that it was under his feet. Needless to say the little lady was not too happy w/Jeremy. Regardless, he still rips sick lines and will always get more heli time then most of us.

    Bummer for all involved.

Coulda been worse. Could have ended up like this guy:

In many places in CA now, if you run, they don't chase you. I know that's the story in San Jose. Its police policy.

No comment on Nobis himself, or his judgement personally, but DUI is extraordinarily stupid no matter who it is. And to do it twice is even more retarded. Drinking is fine, even is excess(on occasion), but don't get behind the wheel after you've done it.

Maggots please note: This is the second time Sinecure's come onto a random thread and invented a reason to post a link to that video.

Dude gets a boner from watching people die. Nice.

I'm definitely a JONG, but you're a creepy f&ck, Sinecure. Go away now. Thanks!

And who the fuck are you?

Nobis parties like he's a 18 year old freshman in college. Except he's 35. Go figure.

    As I said, a JONG.

What, are you upset cause you didn't get to say it first?

You'll have other chances, I'm sure.

I'm glad I wasn't looking at the board today.

    I probably would have created another mosely/drunk driving/cop flame-a-thon.

I think all my feelings on these matters have been spewed about before.

Nobis is still one of my skiing heroes, one bad night doesn't change that for me.

It's not like Nobis is the first person, the last person, or even the most creative person to have done something like this. We, as members of the skiing community and consumers of TGR, respect the guy and it is disappointing when someone you respect does something this stupid and dangerous. At the sake of sounding corny (and I already managed to get in a few typos/miswordings, so why not go for more on this thread), it sucks when your heroes let you down.

Yeah, I know, real hard to argue with the facts here, but they haven't been proven. Yet.

I would almost guarantee him getting jail time if convicted. I know a few people that have had dui's in the last couple months and all of them have had at least a week of jail time for their first offense. However, the Summit County jail is so full at the moment, the convicted are having trouble even service their time. One guy had to serve his time by going in every Sunday night for 24 hour lock up for 2 months, another guy had to wait 6 months to serve his time. Given that, I'm sure they'll have to be a little more lenient on him with how much time he serves. He'll probably use it as summer training with the weights and all and come out bigger and more bad ass than he is now.
