Its snowing lightly in Montgomery. It would have to really pick up to accumulate much. I did see a forecast for snow in the mountains this afternoon and tonight. Yesterday was really nice, a bit windy. Hey Gin, next time you're in town stop by First Trax, I'd love to check out a pair of Bros. I'm usually in our Jay shop teus, thurs, sat, sun. Montgomery side on fri. I'm actually going to Sugarbush tomorrow I know, I know. My sister is on break and we have a voucher for some tickets. I never go any where else so I figured I'd go for it, play gaper for a day. Hope it snows down there!

Well, I should be around tomorrow but I guess that won't work for you... Should be back on Saturday or Sunday so will plan on popping in then. I'll let you know as the day approaches.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and hear that you guys have some nice pics in your shop),

Hit Jay mon & tues. The dip was good monday AM. Most official glades were skied out. Really windy monday afternoon and tuesday morning, so some spots were reset, or blown out. Fast hard base for sure though.

The place is totally over rated but it's pretty easy to find the fresh.

May be a good weekend for the ravine if it's not windy.

Anyone been up to (or planning on) Tucks recently?

I was hoping to go tomorrow, but am thinking things might be a little hard as highs are only supposed to be in the teens to low 20s with mostly cloudy skies. Might go up on Friday if things actually warm up a touch or the sun is forecast to pop out to soften things up a little.

I've been reading the avy reports.

Things were ice, ice, baby a couple days ago, but the wind has been filling some things in. That, of course means that some areas will still be super icy. I'd expect all the snow to be seriously wind affected.

I've heard that it's been, quite possibly, the worst skiing in the east right now. If temps rise a little, then maybe.

    I concur. Baaaaaaaaaad Saturday.

Although I would say that the ~3" Saturday night made the sides of the trail pretty darned good early Sunday... Oh yeah, and all the manmade on OL Sunday was 'night and day' compared to Saturday...

Lower Ovation was open in late October... Probably the first and last time all season.

<edit> maybe it wasnt actually 'open' in October, now that I remember jumping the rope... Oh well, point being that its sad that a mid Oct snowstorm was the best snow all winter.
