I ended up taking a few runs with one the greats Friday, Kevin Andrews. No matter how fast and good I think I am this year I continue to be reminded that I am an amateur thinking I could race the Tour de France (a cat. 3 thinking I can race with pros.) He was so fast and smooth it took everything I had to ski three runs with him. After that he left me in his dust, in a nice way though as he yelled my name and waved good-by from the lift.

I still believe I am good skier, but my understanding of what good is has changed a bit. Its almost like it has made skiing more fun for me. Now I have new goals that I can work toward the rest of my life.

Even though Mr. Andrews is aging a bit, he is still one of the greats!
