    Pretty Lame WWMD?

I just got done having the best 9 days of skiing in my life. My current state is exhausted and satisfied. Since getting back I've had late meetings and have only gotten one halfway decent night of sleep. Tonight I'm providing support for a major evolution at work and I may not get out till midnight (it's currently 9:30 PM EST). I feel great about the skiing I got to do over the past 2 weeks and would love to ski more but it's not the highest priority right now.

It's looking good again in Northern Vermont. ...but that's 3.5 to 4 hrs away. If it were 2.5 I'd be going in a heartbeat. Adding to this I have a commitment at 7 on saturday evening, so that makes a 2 day trip or even a bell to bell day on saturday out of the question.

Here's the heart of the matter: I could give up skiing this weekend no problem, but this could be the last good weekend on the east coast (short of tuck's). I'm pretty sure I could be fine even if the season ended tomorrow, but this is me thinking in a satisfied state and not a "it's been 3 weeks since I've done any good skiing" state.

    Thoughts on this?

It could go either way. My first thought is: "Quit while you're satisfied." I've never skied on the east coast, but could it possibly be shitty after your 4 hour drive?

Go out and party, sleep in, get some coffee, cook up some bacon and eggs, pop a TGR flick in the DVD and think about the great times you just had skiing.

Injuries (skiing) and accidents (driving) happen when your tried and your mind isn't sharp. You closed out nine days of skiing on a good note, don't push it. Rest, relax, enjoy and recuperate. After a few days of that, get back in it!

One just like that would set you back a coupla weeks of heli-time! esp. the white ones-----they command a high price from "Softies" intending to retire in Baja!
