Uh...Silverton is starting unguided operations March 31, but only weekends. I've been wanting to go for some time. With Tax return & frequent flyer miles everything could work.
Anyone thinking the same thing?

Once you decide on a date, hit me up...I'll drive down for a day or two.
I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.
Might be down for that depending on funds...Would be cool to get a crew down there....
Drive slow, homie.
Have you ridden there? I just checked web site....52" last 4 days?!?!.
Damn...you Colo-people are getting as killed (more) as us wash-folk.
I just saw April 15-16 are oopen....i'm going to talk to one other ski friend and prolly book it. UNGUIDED...sweet!
I would like to head down there the first weekend after Snowmass closes, but it would probably be a solo mission since I have no freinds willing to spend that kind of cash. (They're all pansies I tell ya)
It'd be great to hook up with some mags pop my Silverton cherry.

No reservations are needed for unguided skiing. I'll be there April 1st and maybe the 2nd as well if the backcountry is sketch.Originally Posted by NorCascader
Edited to add that you can buy unguided tickets in advance over the phone.

It was epic on the 18th and 19th, I don't know how the weather has been down there, but if it has stayed calm, it should be real nice again this weekend.
