FS: Scarpa T1's size 5 (New!)

Just ordered these from T-P last week for the GF and damn if there not too big. so I ordered her the 4.5's in hopes that we can sell these without losing to much $. she paid $350 with shipping and thats about as cheap as you can find them anywhere online. so if you know any rippin telebuns out there, that need a burlier boot in the smaller size, spread the word.

    Hey Tele FYI:

The half sizes are the smaller liner in the whole size shell (although you probably already know that)

I went to the REI off northern lights and tried on a pair to figure out what fit me, so I wouldn't do a looky-loo at the local shops around town.

    Thanks O, note taken.

Ya she tried on the 5.5 and the 4 but nobody in town had the in between sizes so we decided to try the 5 cause she could hardly get her foot in the 4. well that was too rumi in the forefoot (hmmm prolly cause its a frickin mens last ) so obviously I'm assuming the 4.5 (thicker liner) will work. I just hope it does'nt pack out too much.

P.S. we went and did the midnight run down maxs sunday night, it was so beautiful and clear. here's a pic from the top at 1AM with an 8 second exposure.

(notice the anchorage glow to the NW)

    Thumbs up

URG! Very nice. Did you come around on the traverse and put a skintrack in through the trees up onto the ridge?

^ nope, you can't ski out of bounds or after hours inbounds. we started on the virgin creek trailhead at the end of timberline. it was pretty hairy down low with the mostly unbreakable rain crust but it softened up about 8 or 900 ft up. there was a great superhighway skin track we found (with a damn bootpack in to much of it) that was pretty aggressive. the ride down was great until we hit the tight trees with breakable crust (death!). all in all a great tour but I just wish my camera batteries worked better in the cold

I switched to the new lithium batteries because of that very reason.

The breakable crust down low has been variable for awhile now. About 200 feet of it down to the road in-bounds. I can only imagine the fun through the tight trees at the base that must have been.

I miss working for my turns a bit, might be heading down to thompson (if we don't get snow) for some BC turns.
Although the wind over there has probably done a number on the snowpack. Better earlier than later though.
