    Photos from Ipod Video?

I picked up an ipod video and camera connector yesterday, and have no problem getting the pictures to transfer from the camera to the ipod. Now i need to find out how to get the pics from the ipod to a computer. In itunes i don't see anything for importing photos from the ipod, so how do I do that? There's gotta be a way, apple.com has little website support for this subject, so whatchu know?

Lookin forward to gettin this picture thing figured out so i can waste more time later figuring out how to get videos on it.

Thanks, and btw i use a windows pc.

It can't be done. When the pictures are on there, they're on there.

Funny that you should ask this question today because I just hooked up my photo/video connector for the first time today as well.

Here's what you need to do. First, make sure that you have the "disk mode" enabled on your iPod (it won't work without it). Once you have the photos on your iPod all you have to do is connect it to your USB port as usual. You cannot view the photos using iTunes. You need to go to "My Computer" and then open up your iPod directory (it's drive E: on mine). All of your photos will be stored in the DCIM folder. There should be some sub-directories in there (100APPLE, IPODMISC, etc.) and the actual photos will be in the 100APPLE folder.

Hope that helps you out. PM me if you need more detailed info on any of the steps.
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.

Correct - but you can still listen to them through the ear buds supplied.

cool, ill give it a try later tonight. I figured there had to be a way to get them from the ipod to my computer, because the camera connector was advertised as a way to store photos while access to a computer was not available (which to me implies that they are stored for later uploading to a computer...)
