CO springs maggots, need pikes peak snow info

Has anyone been around pikes peak recently and seen the snow coditions in the y couloir? Id love to know if a ski route from the summit is possible right now after this last storm, ive been looking to knock this one off for a while now and any help would be appreciated.

Pikes has been looking grim all season long. There have been no major upslopes this winter, so my guess is that it's not ready. I haven't been down there in a few weeks, but last time I got a good look at it, things were awfully bare. Good luck.

Yeah, they have had hardly any snow most of the season, but this last storm may have filled things in. Some friends had been talking about going up there today, but I don't know if that ended up happening. I look out at pikes from my room and it looks like there is a lot more snow up there now. I have not been up there myself this season. Last spring I skied one of the three little pigs and a few other runs which were a lot of fun. If you want more info you might want to post on telemark tips. I know a few people over there who would probably have more info to contribute.
