    Destination for April trip?

I am a teacher and I have off April 8th-15th. Jersey is done with snow, so I need to head out west. (Europe is out, since I will only have 4 days) I have been thinking about heading to Snowbird, but I am looking for suggestions!

Where is the best snow for this April? Thanks!

It's looking like tahoe is going to have a deep enough base to get us through april even if it stops snowing, which it doesn't look like it's going to do.

    Must be a math teacher.

BTW...Tahoe, Kirkwood and Mammoth are looking good for snowpack.

I've had some great luck in utah in april. Colorado can be good too with their spring storms and high elevation.

    Spring trip

Vail is supposed to stay open through the 22nd of April and they have a large amount of snow. Spring skiing is great there. Plenty of late season dumps as well. I think they are keeping most of the area open through the 22nd.

and you are right - I am a math teacher.

I am not sure about vail, the lodging and $75 lit tix will wipe me out. It is good to know they are doing better than Telluride.
