Ski Aspen Mtn. on storm days, Highlands the day after. I know some people love it, but Snowmass has too many flat traverses after the steep pitches for me.

When Ty and I were talking it seemed like both our main priorities were to go look at the comp venue at Snowmass. So I guess skiing there is a must. I don't mind traverses so long as they get me to or from steeps, cliffs, etc...

No party plans set just yet. But it sounds like I won't have to be the one behind the wheel so I'll have a water bottle in hand for the drive.

It looks like we won't be getting into Basalt till like 11 or so on Friday night, but would love to hook up at Snowmass on Saturday morning then do whatever on Saturday evening.

We're plannning on skiing the Highlands on Sunday.

we rode the lift with a vail local saturday that said it was the best day of the year so far

Ullr has been treating this maggot really well my past few trips. who needs some pow and has a comfy couch, i'm available

so what are you saying?? first we stopped seeing each other, but now we're not even talking?!?! is that what you're trying to tell me by not answering my phone calls?? by not answering my emails?? by sending back my gifts??? I don't even know you anymore!!!!

    (obviously...I hope)

What MD said....want to ski steeps & lines, wherever it might be, but yeah, would like to see/hit Snowmass Hanging Valley or whatever it's called at least one day. I'm just stoked to get to a new place, meet new people, see an old flame again.......

    I'm into Snowmass on Saturday.

But if I hear that Highland Bowl is going offski, then I'm hiking it in the morning and meeting you extremo dudes at Snowmass in the afternoon. Sunday is up in the air for me right now.

The wall is shaping up nice and it is virtually empty
the flat traverses only take a moment and you can log up to 7 laps in the wall in a day

looks like I am going to have to get work off on Sat

The line shown is Gluteus, with Stileto being to the right. Also, The Triple Jump is in the shaded trees to the left of Gluteus...
