    Cool It's a girl!

My dear Anna Marie was born at 4am this past Friday morning. Healthy and whole.

She's amazing. So sweet and she can be so tragic. I never would have imagined that I could listen to a baby cry for 30 minutes straight without feeling the slightest bit of irritation. I can hold her for hours...

It's crazy how ones perspective on things can get so completely realigned... The cliches pile up, and you never believe that they're mostly all true until it actually happens.

Mom's doing well, too. The doctor assured her a couple times during the labor (much to her chagrin) that her body was perfect for making babies.

...now how soon can I get her on skis....?

Congratulations on the birth of your first!

I hope mother and daughter are doing well.

    JUST WONDERFUL...

Remember she'll ski maybe at two and more like likely at three, but soon you'll have a lil' ripper on your hands.

I thought my life was over when I had kids, really it was just beginning- now I'm able to share the things I love with the gang.

three kids on skis- broke but happy!

    Thumbs up

That is what it is all about, the love. Congrats and welcome to the club. Yes, you certainly did bring back only 13 month old memories. Boy I love my little girl.

And you really weren't asleep here, were ya You can't be, your mind is going a mile a minute even though you are emotionally and physically drained. You can't miss a moment with this new being you helped create.

Cool stuff Dad! Thanks for sharing.
