Collective hug aside, I'll take my own tweaker moment to say that one character among you has touched me with such sincerity, so enduringly, so perplexingly and endearingly above all others to earn a fresh top-of-page.

So consistently, so disarmingly, so genuinely and so sweetly. So charmingly, disarmingly, bafflingly and laughingly. Proddingly, noddingly, infuriating and elucidating. Familar and utterly peculiar. Irrascible, intolerable and contagiously affable.

He's honest, dignified, funny, graceful and kind. Always in his own way and in his own time. Ever mindful of his kin.

The best kind of friend any guy could hope for.

He's all that and more, and even though it's a day and a bit late, I'd like you all to join me, just once more before the week expires, in wishing Buster Highmen a happy birthday full of happiness, laughter and delightful surprises.
