    Tramdock is the Shit

In regards to a recent price drop on some FKS 185's I bought before, these people fucking rock.

"Of course we will credit ya back for the difference of the bindings.

I just did that for ya now so that should show up onto your card in a couple
    of business days.

I am verry sorry about all this but you have for sure been credited for the
    difference.

If you need anything else please just let us know

    thanks
    Sincerely,

whats the deal with this? Was tramdock a separate company and bought by backcountry.com? Curious why they would need two sites for essentially the same stuff.

www.Tramdock.com and www.Backcountry.com are the same company, but each sites' goals are different.

Tramdock is focused strictly on high end ski gear.

Backcountry is all about great hiking, trail running, skiing, snowboarding, boating and camping gear.

The two sites carry some of the same gear, and some gear unique to each site. So, the selection of each site is slightly different, but the price will be identical for any gear carried by both sites.

I think we can put any blame on the web site designer.

Backcountry this time, but same difference. I used Conundrum's discount code after buying some skins, and they gave me back the difference. I love these people, and will give them business forever.

I was able to apply your discount and refund you $32.98 to your
credit card. It should take about 2 to 4 business days for you to see the
transaction. If you have any other questions please feel free to email
us and let us know or you can come to Backcountry.com and click on Live
Help and one of our Gear Experts can assist you with your questions.

Backcountry owns a bunch of sites each with a different focus (as noted above by Phunk):

    Backcountry.com
    BackcountryOutlet.com
    Tramdock.com
    dogfunk.com
    SteepandCheap.com
    Explore64.com
    Geartrade.com

They have a few others in the works. I tried to get them selling Igneous back in '99. At that point Jim and Christian were working out of a living room in Heber (John was off doing some start-up in San Diego). I think they had a grand total of two computers in the room and a closet with maybe 50 different products they were selling. Christain was more interested in getting sponsored than selling our stuff, but I've kept in touch with them over the years and have been blown away by what they've been able to accomplish...b

They were always super nice when I ordered. Anytime I purchased skis they always threw in better shipping for free.
