Alta, Today, 03-10-06....a few powder pics

    I guess it was O.K.

Took a few shots in Ballroom...

And then moved over to Devil's Castle as soon as it was opened...

Beautiful shots. Looks like he is yelling something fierce. Where do you find the will and strength, to stop and shoot on such beautiful days?

It depends where I'm skiing and what cam and lenses I'm hauling around. This is about all I took last week:

Besides, it's my understanding that that ski photogs will get first tracks in powder heaven...when the time comes.

Nice shots as always Astro. I guess I shouldn't have left my camera in the car.

Oh well, still one of the best half days of the year for me. Big ups to bags for saving me a spot in line.

Bags, Boris and Rodney and I warmed up on Eddies. Went over to the shoulder, ran into Z and his brother and threw a fun huck in Bad News. Z dropped and nailed the finder. Then it was off for a coupld straighlines in Glory Hole. It was fun to finally nail that sucker since seeing DTM do it like 4 years ago (and Xover just peer over the edge ). Then it was off to the Castle and a couple more hucks to bat cave, where bags finally sent that bitch. Last lap of the day was a funktified inverted attempt to almost landing on some dudes head in Bad News.

Great snow, sunshine, ripping dudes to ski with. Can't beat that.

I never met the dude...it was a random shot.

But here is a crop of the same skier, same powder sequence, different frame:
