Talking "If it wasn't for our sport, twin tips wouldn't of even existed"

This site is almost too good to be true. The kingdom of snowlerblading, the woodwork from which all gapers emerge, the gapicski of gapers..... http://www.skiboardsonline.com - "Your Core Skiboarding Source."

I still can't believe what I'm reading. These are just a few gems:

"Just recently I've noticed that we are abosolutly HATED by skiiers"

"i'd like to see skiers do what i do, in the park and on the trails... i clown on those mud ducks every time"

"Just because its easier than skiing in general doesn't mean that we are all just a bunch of losers who sucked at skiing so we formed a sport that we all plan to take over skiiers and snowboarders. "

"If it wasn't for our sport, twin tips wouldn't of even existed, according to Wilkipedia."

"If it wasnt for innovative sports like snowboarding and skiboarding, half of the US resorts would be closed "

"I took my little bro skiboarding for his first time, and when he fell, some skiier shouted "thats what you get for being on the gay blades.""

"I've never found skiing that much tougher than Skiboarding...it's mad easy to stomp tricks on 181s."

    And my personal favorite:

"i get laughed at from the chairlifts sometimes, for no real reason, ill slide a box or something and i'll hear someone say something about my sexual orientation."

True Skiboard's short, wide, twin tip, wood core, design allows riders to carve like snowboarders, float through deep powder...
Why has no one told me about this?!? I cant believe I've been missing out.

Actually, I post over there as well. They are a pretty good bunch of guys although the large majority of them are kids, young adults. There are a lot of talented riders on that site, and they don't hate on other forms of snow riding. Go ahead and slam me for being a skiboarder if you must, but I started off on regular skis then switched over to skiboards, now I'm pretty much splitting time between the two. Skiboards definitely are a fun snow riding device especially on the east coast where there isn't a ton of powder.
My skiboards don't rank anywhere near in comparison to the AT boards that I have pretty much all but switched over to this season, however they are fun to play around with. Skiboarding in general is getting closer and closer to skiing anyway. The boards are getting longer, just like skis are getting wider. Pretty soon the difference between skiboards and short fat skis will be pretty much non existant at the rate things are evolving.

Let the slam fest begin, I'm a big boy and I can take it..

While I think they are worthy of a few chuckles, I imagine they are a blast, like anything else on snow. It's just like snowboarding, Rag all you want, but if you've never ridden a board in the big POW I feel sorry for you, you have no idea what your missing. Wait till these little fuckers are doing double flips and 1800's in the pipe.

P.S. I'm getting a pair just for jibbing. Anybody want to review some good park-specific boards?

    skis are versatile tools

snowlerblades are toys... physics makes them much more adept at direction changes which is why a skilled pilot can do those amazing things on the skiboards... things i can't do on skis and probably couldnt do on a skiboard... but they still look silly...

throughout this post i constantly had to correct myself as i naturally tried to type snowblade or skiblade.... apparently these are different than skiboards or something i dont understand... i'm a skiboard JONG i guess

I always thought they were the same thing. Skiboards, snowblades, etc...

I thought snowlerblades (initially) were what McConkey was on in Focused (post-Saucer Boy). The snowboard looking things...
