    Scratch BC's

    188 - black/orange - w/o bindings - 1 mount (f/ rossi scratch bindings 317mm boot)
02/03 version, but picked up new in Jan '04. Always been a quiver ski so they've likely only been skied 20-25 days in mostly powder, but I ski in the Alberta rockies so they've seen a few rocks. No major damage, lots of base, edge & life left - quick stonegrind and they'd be in great shape.
Wouldn't mind getting a bit of cash for them, but make a bid and give me a good story as to why you need some cheap fatties and we'll work something out.

Edit: Just hoping to hook up someone in need, Cooltsi has dibs on them if no-one has a good sob story.

I actually have a great sob story (not me, a friend) but he probably won't go for it.

    Oh well...1 for 2.

    i NEED some fat skis

    Hey,

Ok the story is that I have just got into back country skiing this winter. I am in Montana and skiing on 79 underfoot skis does not make it all that easy. While it is still one of the funnest things I have ever done, I need to pick up a pair of skis that doesnt sink to knee deep when tredging through the deep stuff at bridger. My cousin lives up in Tahoe and I seriously need somethig that can handle the heavy powder so my legs arent burning after half a day. If this isn't enough of a sob story I am sure that I can elaborate upon it.

Hope that helps to explain my situaiton.

    A

So the only pair of skis I've ever owned is a pair of 173cm (173cm!!!) K2 Enemys. My boots are actually retired rentals, but thats another story for another time. My Dad bought these for me back before I had any clue what I really wanted/needed. Since then they've seen roughly 150+ days and have taken *alot* of damage (core shots, etc.) mostly from the PNW travesty winter of last year. This year we've been blessed by Ullr and I've been stuck riding my less-than-80mm underfoot Enemys' which are (according to shop guy) beginning to rot. Anyway, my parents do not have the means of purchasing me a new pair and since I'm off to college next year I won't have a chance at getting some myself. So if you could hook a maggot up with a pair to last a few years, this maggot would be super-stoked. I can't drop too much on them because I'm having some car issues right now, but I can sure try.

I have no sob story for them, just bumping a worthy thread.

Oh, and if Lineskier-101 says he needs them, he doesn't.

hey i'm from ontario, it is so flat here its sad, i ride alot of park here and anytime i get out west i try to get in the pow. i'm moving out to alberta transfered for work so i will be hitting up big 3 on pow days and prolly jibbing in olympic park after work some days, i only have park skis, riding pow on 80mm waist is better then ontario, but i could use some fat skis i'm 6 ft 150 so they sound like a good size for me, i could offer like 50 bucks cause i'm poor , and when i'm out west i'll buy you a few beers if we ever run into each other.

Worked out something via PM w/ a long time maggot on these, some other good candidates replied both here and through PM so hopefully someone else has some old boards around to carry this on.
Xover, I'm not sure the foam in the Scratches would be healthy for the Mr AG bonfire.

    + for Quiver = 1 x 150+ snow day Enemies
    ++ for PNW '04/'05 survivors
+++ for "Rot" (loved that one!)
    - for "parents can't buy"
    - for NJ guido pic.

still, best sob story IMO though.

Yeah, I thought about laughing when he told me about it, but then I realized that was my only pair... though it appears this thread is dead.
