image must be hosted somewhere online to be viewed so don't try and post the pictures from your desktop.
get the properties of the picture by right clicking, going to properties and copying the entire URL address and place the properties between the html tags above.

if you are using firefox, then you can right click and "copy image location" saves the hassle of highlifting and copying from properties.
If the picture is tiny, you can upload as an attatchment, but 9 times out of 10, the pic will be too big.
