    NYC maggots

I will be in town Saturday night. Anyone up for some beers- preferably a place that will let a lowlife like myself in the door (wearing sneakers)

Looks like we will actually be able to get a group together. Anyone have suggestions on time and location?

Totally cheesy, but it would be a little ironic to meet where the beer flows like wine....

Then of course, we could go somewhere that doesn't suck

i recommend the belgian beer bar..
    burp castle is also good.

Sounds too expensive for a dirtbagger like me.

Since I was planning on going skiing and have done enough weekday drinking this week, don't think I'll be able to make it.

Sounds perfect. Say- 10 PM or so? I'll be rocking the Spicoli Vans for ID purposes.

Sounds like a plan. If anyone wants to hook up before hand and head over there together shoot me a pm for digits. I realize a crowded bar isn't going to be the easiest place to meet some people for the first time. Plake I'll recognize, the rest of you not a clue

Dex? Snorkeldeep? Woodsy? I'll probably also be rocking a TGR hoody to make myself noticeable.

I was always a big fan of the Stoned Crow for mellowish meetups downtown. Many a night (including my bachelor party) started or ended drinking pitchers and playing pinball. Alternatively, Dan Lynch's for blues.

Of course, that was 10 years ago. Much has undoubtedly changed.
