    Summit 2006 official photo thread

We need a thread for all the great pix that have been taken or will be taken in the coming days.

So post them if you've got them.

Pow Tuesday at Blackcomb, waiting for Spanky's to open. L to R, Vicente, Droopy and Spdfrk.

Worth the wait. Droopy in Sapphire Bowl.

    Eldereldo

    Spdfrk

Spdfrk again. Can't remember where this was.

Pow11 showed us the goods today, and skied some great lines.

Damn nice day eh! I saw you guys in line and later joined after doing another lap down Pink Salmon. I was the guy (green arcteryx jackey, blk. full-face) trying to convince Powder11 to do another lap up Glacier.

Spanks was sick and you know what? Its pissing cold rain in the village right now, which means snow up on the mountain so it looks like we'll be doing it all over again tomorrow! Fuck yeah!

    I'll be skiing Blackcomb tomorrow.

    From today

    March 8, 2006 - Blackcomb

It snowed a lot today. Lots and lots of surprisingly decent snow given the high winds up top. Our first round was up Spankys and down Ruby before it got shut down by the high winds. Then we went off to seek treed skiing goodness.

Here goes brklyntrayc on CBC trees

Update from today (Thu) at Whistler. Leelau and his ripping wife Sharon led us around and beat us Maggots into submission. A great day with some amazing snow.

Just a few of the dozen or more Mags we saw today.

    Droopy somewhere off Red chair.

Dodger going huge near the Waterfall on Peak chair.

    Skieast

    Sharon

    Leelau in Harvey's trees.

    Pulverschwein

    Eldereldo

The hike up to Flute Bowl.

    And the reward.

Leelau on the final run of the day from Peak to Creek.

sweet pics, they truly show "how it is" in Whistler these days.

Hey Skieast, how did that photo turn out of that pillow line you took that I skied? Oh and Samwich, Toby told me to tell you that I skied "your line" . AKA the big ass pillow line that drops down to the Blackcomb glacier cat track.

Lee- Thanks again for showing us around to you and Sharon. Reed says hi and thanks too!

That picture of Gerald on your page that is titled "Pow is Farmed" is a great one... everyone should check it out.
I just hope there isn't TOO much powder.
