From a friend:
We had two bikes stolen from the North American Handmade Bicycle in San Jose over the weekend. It was stolen from our booth, sometime in between Saturday night and Sunday morning. The event security apparently doesn't know anything (cough). We highly doubt the event "insurance" is going to compensate us.
Old Man Mountain racks had a bike stolen too.
We are missing an amber-colored singlespeed 29er which had a Pace carbon 29er fork on it. It was not rideable - it was missing brake cables and some other parts, though the parts that were on it were all from an On One parts kit.
We are also missing a prototype bike of a 29er made out of S3, a superlight steel alloy made by True Temper. No one has ever done this before. It is brown, has a Reba 29er fork on it, and is fully built up with a mishmash of various high end parts.
I would link images but I am in a hotel room on my shitty laptop and we are about to leave, so instead here are links from the MTBR galleries:

They should be easily recognizable because they are TIG-welded 29ers. If someone has them in the next few days I'd imagine they'd peel the decals off and would be just riding a bare frame, or the frame will have some kind of bad spraypaint job. That Pace carbon fork is super hard to come by as well.
You are welcome to shoot, run over, maul, maim, etc anyone you see with our bikes (just don't hurt the bikes), or if you bychance see any forsale listings or see it in one of those cheap bike piles PLEASE let me know (cwd@mintcycles.com), and if you know it is our bike for sure please also call the San Jose Police Dept as soon as you can (ask for Detective Carter).
