Most important features for your cycling computer (road bike)?

I am looking at getting a computer for my bike. Just curious what your opinions are.

Seriously, who gives a shit about a computer on your mtn bike. Most trails tell you how long they are, and that's all you really need. If you want to know how long you're out on the trails, wear a watch. I've got a computer on my road bike, but not on my mtn bike.

a heart rate monitor. the rest is just jibberish for bragging and will make all of your rides into boring exercise as you stare at the numbers, except for maybe a cadence counter which is good for a while, but after a while your body will just know what cadence/ heartrate you are at.

I don't use an odometer anymore. They kept getting broken on my mtn bike whenever I crashed I use a HR monitor instead. I like to look at it in a race to confirm that I'm either about to have a heart attack trying to keep up with THAT girl, or that I'm completely slacking off and that's why I'm getting dropped.
