    Photo TR: Chute in GTNP

This is within the Grand Teton park boundary.

Not much of a TR, jst a couple of snapshots really. Top 1/2 was untracked (shitty photos from the top); bottom had a few tracks (the chute has a few alternate entrances). 6-12" of soft snow; the runout had a carveable inch or 2

I tried to give a perspective of the pitch The first shot was taken looking down after skiing the top 1/2.

Due to stability concerns, I don't like to linger longer than I have to. (The snow was quite stable today, but when it goes, our snowpack will go big this year.)

Someone PM'ed me..thought I'd post the answer here.

The chute itself was just under 2,000 vertical and it averaged 40-45 degrees.
