Anyone want to go to I-Street Sunday?

    Cause I don't. I'll probably be at a skatepark.

You people have lost your minds. Though apparently you have company. I get weekly phone calls and emails about trips to Bootleg or indoor BMX races. There's perfectly good snow up in the mountains you crazies!

I went up to I street yesterday afternoon to see the winter damage. Well, the style is pretty worked over, but some kids had been there earlier in the day cleaning up and building up lefty. So I added some dirt to the lip on the second lefty landing and was checking out the ravine step-down and step-up when the kids showed up.

After some conversing and agreement that stuff needed to be bigger, we built up lefty one a bit, steepened it, and built up almost a foot of lip on the landing. It's looking really good right now.

Also, someone came in and reworked the step-up. Not sure why since it was pretty perfect last year. It looks like they steepened the lip and dug out and built up the transition so it's almost a 10 foot gap and step up. Should be interesting. Not hittable now because there is still snow on it and the landing across the ravine is all sandy.

I was looking and think I might fashion a new, bigger step down, going off the right side of the current one, then digging another new step-up just to the right of the current. Next high pressure I'll be out ther digging.

I'm in for helping with a new step-down/up option CS. Step-up sounds bad. They did that last year too and I could only clear it when it got eroded a bit.

And yes AG I know I'm crazy. WTF am I doing thinking of bikes when it's looking like snow all week??
