KW noon update: white room, white curtains

Trenchtown. Place is empty, 88 closed in both directions, snowing heavily all day. Facials galore. I just called in sick to work, gonna have to stay up here for the duration

Thanks for the update, but why the fuck are you posting and not skiing?

my work environment looks like this:

    1 window is kirkwood webcam
1 window is kirkwood snow/road report
1 wiindow is the program i'm supposedly developing right now (this one has been minimized all day)

any beta on roads/weather from folks up there? i'm planning on camping at kirkwood if there is any possibility of getting in tonight. if necessary, i may park car on side of 88 and walk in . . . MUST GET THIS SNOW

K; back at base camp. Carson Pass opened up at 3pm, so I bolted back down to Gardnerville while I had the chance. Spur was still closed, the CalTrans guy that I talked to by the road said it will probably open by dark.

Arty; I was posting from the parking lot real quick when I got back to KW. I was supposed to work in Carson at noon, but after waiting at the pass for almost an hour, I decided it would be "safest" to turn around, call in sick, and git some more tracks. Shortly after I showed back up (noon,) the whole mountain shut down except 5&7. 11 opened back up about 2:15, but patrol had even closed waterfall. So...... with literally no huckables accessible to hurl myself from on the whole mountain, I split. Good day anyways tho.

Got a 5 o'clock report from coorsauce before he went to work clearing the spur. He said a couple feet fell and that tomorrow would be kill. Asked him to not open the spur. You Calihoochieites best take 50.
