    some pretty pics part 2

I wasn't going to post yet another TR, but since this is the last one ive got for a little bit. (broke my collar bone last week... grrrr) and in leu of this gorgeous day and the fact that I am feeling much better and can finally shift so I can drive now!! Yay!!! So here are some pretty pictures from the tour up pinkpine we did monday of last week. I just try to block out the 2 hours of kickturn hell beforehand.

All just super mellow, super pretty scenic pics. I feel dumb that they are all me, but since I cant ski right now and I've been feeding off of the board all week for stoke, I thought I would add to the pile.

    All photos Nate Young

about to drop in, I love this pic. This is the best feeling in the world, and this pic represents a big part of why I ski.

Tree shot, I actually hit that tree sticking out sideways in front of me just right after this shot and got thrown tumbling down a chute. It was pretty hillarious (ow) actually.

    pow pow

    and my favorite...

    awesome stuff, fineline!

good luck with the collar bone. snapped mine like a toothpick a few years back, but if you let it heal up, it'll be good as new (well, maybe a little bump).

collarboners... a rite of passage I guess.

As far as broken bones go they're pretty tame. I was out of the sling at 4 weeks, sea kayaking by 6, and accidental rodeo7->eat shit directly onto the thing at 8 weeks.

    Good luck!

Ugh. I heard your message but was rather un-sober, and kinda forgot to call you back. I'm so sorry you're hurt (again.) At least you had a pretty good season until then!

Heal up fast, and next time we'll get together for sure.

I'll be missing the fineline air shots for the next month or so, but I'm sure you'll be back at it before the lifts stop turning at the bird. I've done both of my collarbones and both of my pinkies. Those are the only bones I've ever broken.

get better, we need every man we can get for the upcoming war against restrictive ski resorts and areas closed for no reason, not even for safety or avalanche reasons, SKIERS UNITE
Mabye i'm not really poor, if I sold all my ski stuff and season passes i'd be rich; but I can't do that, I made promises...

Like MD9, I've done both of my clavicles. Thank God not at the same time.

Sorry to hear about the fx. If you're able to drive - and hopefully sleep, cough, sneeze, wash your hair, etc. - you're well on your way.

    Nice photos

Sweet pics, I really like the second one.

Good luck with the collar bone, I broke mine last year and it is probably the mildest bone to break, I was back skiing within two weeks with lacrosse shoulder pads and a sling. That's what's great about the collar bone is that you don't need it to ski, just don't fall on it. Good luck with recovery.
