It started today, and it wasn't that bad!
Well, I had to dawn patrol the PA turnpike to drive in rush hour traffic with pissing rain to get to the hospital today. Upon arrival, I was poked, prodded, and pinched, but at least I got a bowl of raisin bran for breakfast
Spent about four hours total in the hospital, with all the testing and blood work that needed to be done.
The Alpha interferon treatment was no big deal. The only side effects encountered were some mild nausea and headaches. The Nausea subsided after a two hour nap, but right now I could use some Tylenol. Sent mom out on a run to the store, hopefully she retuns.
Other than that, things went fine. If this is as bad as it's going to get, things are looking very good for a late February trip to Zion.
