sorry my mistake AD, but still agreed that Glacier Chair base is a better meet spot while on Blackcomb. Traffic naturally flows around there better.

Also correct that the lightboard on Whistler is for sure the bigass lightboard at Roundhouse area, can't miss it.

As a neophite who's never been to Whistler/Blackcomb, but has glanced at a trail map, I agree with the idea that the Glacier Chair base is a better place. However, it sort of looks like it'd be a clusterf#ck down at the base of this chair. Is there somewhere specific that they/we could meet, or is the "base of the Glacier Chair" good enough?

Also, since the first Blackcomb days are just around the corner, I'm hesitant to change things this late in the game. However, it does look like the Glacier area would be a much better place to meet. I'm going to go ahead and change the location, and hope that the slacker people figure it out before tomorrow.

Please let me know if a more precise location then "the bottom of the Glacier Chair" is neccessary!

Hanging around the end of the Glacier Chair corral/lineup looking impatient to get at it should suffice.

Locals feel free to shout it out if ya got anything easier in mind but that should do.

I think it's good enough. There's a pretty big open area between the lodge and the chair and I think it would be easy to congregate in that area and everyone would recognize this as a group of some type and not merely a clusterf#ck.

I'll stand in the middle of the area and wave my bros in the air until my arms get tired, if that'll help

I'm still meeting at my proposed time and places. Bottom of glacier chair. The reason for this is simple. If I ski blackcomb I drive to base two and load from midstation. If I ski Whistler I go from creekside. I generally avoid the lines of the village.
    See ya boys then.
Unfortunately on Sunday at 11 am I have to take my safety meeting for the mishap that lead to my pass being suspended. But Sat. is my first day back riding lifts. WOOO HOOOO!!

Makes sense. Will look for you at the Whistler lightboard, 9 am on Monday. (Assuming you still plan to ski on Monday?)

I like Athans meeting times - see my edited post. I will also be at Glacier at 9am. on Saturday am. Since it may be decent visibility tomorrow please be prepared to go for a hike or skin. If you don't have bc gear then we'll discuss some other options for you

My girl and I will get in tomorrow and be skiing on sunday at w/b. We have never been there before. Therefore mags will be good friends! I have a red jacket, a couple of pennies and grey pants.

    BTW - must hate Duke.
I just hope there isn't TOO much powder.

Will see you guys in the morning at 8:15 at the BC gondy (or 9 at Glacier). I have beacon/shovel/probe, but no skins/AT binders, so hiking is cool, but anything longer/skin-ish, I'm out. Black jacket, Red Solly X2 boots, TGR sticker on my helmet. Chillin here in the internet cafe w/ Droopy looking for shit to do tonite besides crash, so if anyone is around, look us up.

Looks like I'm wearing a pack tomo. I'll be a glacier at 9 cause I obviously can't get enough of athan and just HAVE to see him again, haha. I hiked Spanky's seven times today, it was lovely. Boney getting into Sapphire, but still lots of snow down skiers left of ruby and all down Diamond.
    Believe.
