Anyone have experience w/ "The Active Foot" Dr. Chanin MD?

I was tyring on some climbing shoes today and the topic, of course, turned to my flat Fred Flinstone feet. The guy at the shop told me to make an appointment w/ Dr. Chanin who happens to work out of the Bent Gate as "The Active Foot". I definatly need shoe orthotics. I already have surefoot ski orthodics but I don't think those really did much for me. Have any of you guys been to him?

He is a MD so I'm hoping that I can get insurance to help pay for some of this. Any thoughts on that?

Depends on your insurance, but United Healthcare didn't pay for mine. If your going to use them for skiing, make sure they are full foot. My doc made mine 3/4 and I don't use them skiing.
