Red face Getting back to work after long vacations... sux

Especially when it is raining cats and dogs and my commute consisted of avoiding carnage all over Route 1.

On the plus side, now I can spend more time here.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and get the feeling that I've let a lot of good threads slide by),

Sort of glad I've missed alot of those threads Gin. I'm sure they talked about all of the snow falling everywhere but in the NE. How was Whiteface RT? Magic was grim to say the least. It was amazing how psyched I was to ski dust on crust the one day in 7 that it actually snowed instead of rained. Oh well, just nice to spend almost 2 weeks straight with the kids, that tops any pow day anytime...

Gore and Whiteface were both pretty bleak. It was good to make turns, but the few runs that they had open were packed.

On the plus side, I saved $15 by passing for a nineteen year-old at Whiteface

Weather forced Mountain Creek to close today...

    Ugh.

SO not looking forward to work today.

    Ugh.

    Blech.

    Dammit.

(though I'm glad I have a job - I shouldn't complain since I have several friends who don't have any work right now...)

Complain away! They are sleeping in right now! Or out doing something fun while collecting unemployment...

I missed a lot of threads over the holidaze but that was fine with me, I went touring & lift riding. We had some good dumps around Christmas followed by generally calm winds & cold weather so the snow remained excellent.
