    OK here are some photos...

    check the flat camber:

these are kinda hard to tell the scale, but check out the long shovels:

and the 'reverse camber' tail...more just like a long, low rise:

That EHP193 is definitely appealing. Liked your review/write-up...had me drooling to get a pair under my feet.

I like the idea of the rockered tail more than a twin tip.

This is going to sound kind of gay, but I'd love the EHP in a 183. The mountains I ski aren't big enough, nor am I man enough, to run the 193. Other than that, they sound amazing.

    Get the 182 VCT then....

I actually think this ski would sell great in shorter lengths. I know I would put my fiance on a pair of 180 somethings if they were available. As to the comment about just buying some VCTs, well that is just not even close to the same ski

If you're saying keep the same width but shorten the ski maybe, but considering that the 190 EHP is last year's 190 VCT with a slightly turned down tail, the skis are completely different...

But we arent talking about the 190 EHP, we are talking about the 193 EHP which is a totally different ski. You are correct that the 190 EHP is the same as the VCT, but that is NOT the ski we are talking about. The 193 EHP is 130-112-118 and a totally different ski. That is why I am saying the VCT is not even close. Does it make sense now

Hmmm...I like the flat camber....they look like a beefier Sanouk with the long shovel and all.

Noooo! I'm super interested in trying the 193 EHPs ... but I must resist the temptation of some sort of group deal.

    Argh!

if my brother gets them, i'll trade you time on those for time on the 138s and 120s...

Wait...he gives up someting and you get something? Shouldn't *he* be the one to get time on the 138s/120s???

Prolly have Freerides on the 138s & Dynafits on the 120s.

Well if you live on the east coast, it won't matter because you'll never be able to ski these.

On another note, group buy and im in.

soul_skier...your ski "time-share" proposal is one step closer to completion.

i can't keep up with all the mc_roon "i am poor", "i am buying new gear", "i am poor", "i am not poor" messages. for reals.

i think mc_roon wins for amassing the most gear while crying poverty!

    (ah...now i know why he's always poor.)

(some stuff you "might" have enjoyed in the yay area prolly costs a bit more than it does where you are now.)
