Indeed. One could easily stretch it as far as saying each individual sperm is 'viable'. Meaning that every time you flush that tissue or condom, you're killing millions.

    "Wasting the seed":

You can only be charged with a murder or two a month... remember you are only supposed to have sex with your wife and she is only going to ovulate once a month unless you got her on crazy fertility drugs.

Every sperm is sacred - Monty Python
There are Jews in the world, there are Buddhists,
There are Hindus and Mormons and then,
There are those that follow Mohammed,
But I've never been one of them...

I'm a Roman Catholic, and have been since the day I was born,
And the one thing they say about Catholics,
Is they'll take you as soon as you're warm...

    You don't have to be a six-footer,
You don't have to have a great brain,
You don't have to have any clothes on -
You're a Catholic the moment dad came...

    because...

Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great,
If a sperm is wasted, God gets quite irate.

Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great,
If a sperm is wasted, God gets quite irate.

Let the heathen spill theirs, on the dusty ground,
God shall make them pay for each sperm that can't be found

Every sperm is wanted, every sperm is good,
Every sperm is needed in your neighbourhood.

    Hindu, Taoist, Mormon,
    Spill theirs just anywhere,
But God loves those who treat their
    Semen with more care.

Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great,
    If a sperm is wasted,
    God gets quite irate.

    Every sperm is sacred,
    Every sperm is good,
    Every sperm is needed,
    In your neighbourhood.

Every sperm is useful, every sperm is fine,
    God needs everybody's,
    Mine
    And mine
    And mine

    Let the Pagan spill theirs,
    O'er mountain, hill and plain,
God shall strike them down for
Each sperm that's spilt in vain.

Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is good,
Every sperm is needed in your neighbourhood.

Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great,
If a sperm is wasted, God gets quite irate.

I am just a unfrozen caveman lawyer. I ponder over things like how they keep the fire from flickering inside of the light buld above my computer screen. When I recieve a fax I sometimes wonder if little demons are inside of the machine typing the letters onto the page. Your world confuses me. But I do know this, when a state passes a blatantly unconstitutional law like this we can pray that the Circuit Court holds it unconstitutional and the Supreme Court denies certoriari to save face.
Don't talk to me about politics, my business is selling little goldfishes.

Keyrock's words are just as true today as they were in his time. The court allows allows a full hearing. Did you hear that Keyrock... keyrock?

(Keyrock) I'm sorry, I was listening to all those little spirit voices in this phone.

It doesn't take a particularly shrewd person to answer "yes," especially if that person realizes just how life-changing parenting is.
Yes, but then that's a decision made after the fact that the woman got pregnant. I just don't think anyone would say that prevention doesn't matter because they can just have an abortion afterwards if something goes wrong.

Yes, and that's why conservatives don't want to teach kids about contraception, and embrace abstinence only education.

once again, the right wing makes no sense.

Dude, you are painting some pretty Broad strokes with that brush. If you are referring to all degrees of conservatives then i would say your statement is not accurate of the majority. Shit, most of you have proabaly labeled me a neocon by now, but i am actually against the death penalty, pro choice, and pro legalization.

    Wink

    Sterilize the population.

Offer fertility drugs to those who actually want to get pregnant.

    Problem solved.

    Cono Este:

I definintely have not labeled you as a neocon. In fact, I find that we tend to agree on a fair number of things.

But presently, the far right has taken control of the Republican party, and they tend to preach abstinence only education, outright banning of abortion, and restrictions on access to birth control, which, in my opinion, is the most ignorant and irresponsible trifecta there can possibly be in ANY society. Just wishing that children remain celibate doesn't necessarily make it so.

abstintance is perfect birth control, and the perfect birth control system. Their's just no functioning abstinance only birth control country because nobody's implemented one yet. It's not the system, it's the implementation

And, seeing it goes against the most fundamental urge in nature besides eating and breathing, I don't hold high hopes for success.
