    Puleeze.

The majority of people at Keystone are skiing because it's fun. Too bad they're missing the point.

It's been freaking beautiful out and everything is skiing so nice for not being pow. For instance, the south bowl cornice huck is money.

Funny, I’ve put in close to 30 days this season at the Colorado Pass mountains. I’ve been riding Apache Chiefs (99 waist) almost every single day. I’ve only gotten about 2 or 3 “wow those are some fat skis” the entire time. Of course if a gaper so much looks at me sideways I push him off the lift. These are last years. So, I’m thinking it’s the slimming effect of the black. Because I’ll be riding up with my buddy who rides Vicious and he gets the comment a lot more.

I use 75mm waist as the everyday pair- then again, I'm in NewEng and grew up on skinny sticks

Well I wouldn't know, so this may very well be a valid point. I'm just going off what I see (sun rapage) and the knowledge that it hasn't snowed in like... 10 days? 2 weeks? Whatever it is. And that my friends said the conditions yesterday and the previous day were "ehhh... ok..."

But granted, the weather HAS been spectacular. Wish I could shred the gnar gnar groomers (and I'm actually serious about this) now.

But Summit, you were just bragging to me a little over a week ago how Keystone ROCKS! Best snow ever! Everyone should go there!

Really now. There is nothing to see at Keystone, no stashes at all, just blue squares and Texans in starter jackets - keep moving people, down to Breck..

Max is doing his homework right now.

I'm going skiing not at Keystone not with FRP.

    Move along now,

Nothing to see here! Go to Breck. Or Utah.

What will you do, Summit, if you find me poaching YOUR terrain. Better yet, what will SheRa do??

I hear Taos is having the best snow year ever. Everyone should go there

It's in Unicornland with the rainbows and gumdrops!

Or is it somewhere in Montana? Or is it the real Brokeback Mountain?

Moral support for the friends (and consultation on how many layers to wear for my friend who has to ask his mom whether he should wipe his ass or not).

Besides, it beats Boulder. By a LOT.

Ehm... nope. Called him many times this week to no avail. If you had some overwhelming desire to bring those by Sewall, can't say I'd be opposed.

I'll give him one more chance to get that stuff back to me, then I'll have to resort to other measures, methinks. Call you if it doesn't work out with Chase.

Nice hijack, by the way. (Although it's probably more relevant to my everyday life than fat skis at keystone anyway...).

The true meaning of skiing is to have fun (and to progress). Not looking like a gaper and receiving props/kudos/positive recognition are bonuses.

I think the true meaning of skiing is to look your best. It's all about fashion! Who cares if you actually know how to ski???
