    Gotama for AT?

I'm replacing my Gotama 183's for ANTs for my everyday ski inbounds and I was wondering if they'd make a good AT ski for me? I'm new to AT and related stuff, so be easy on me if this is a dumb question. Also, I searched, but I wasn't really sure what to search for. Thanks guys.

What's the general consensus on AT bindings? Which ones are the best?

I use mine with freerides for short tours. The weight gets a bit annoying for longer tours but its manageable and they make the way down a lot of fun.

I have 183 gots as my touring skis.
First mounted with freerides, now Nx21.

Like the Nx21 much more. had instatele problems with the FR and like the way the Naxo tour more. Need to do it more, though.

    No difference when skiing.

As for the ski....the 183 got is a little short. It is cause the huge twin. I should have gone with the 190.

overall I like how they ski. Not super heavy, pretty stable at a 183. Just wish they didn't feel so short.

I'm eventually going to switch to either an Igneous FFGS or possibly a Soft/stiff bro.
Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....

I don't know a whole lot about the gots but I've been researching the binding issue.

There is a ton of info at wildsnow.com. It's Lou Dawson's site. I've also been talking to a ton of folks about the Naxo vs Freeride dilema. Most say that you won't be disappointed with either and most binding owners are faithful to which ever binding they currently have. The Naxo has the one big advantage of a tour lock. There is no way you can "instatele." It's not supposed to ever happen with the freerides but if you look around you'll see it has happened to more than just a few folks.

    Good Luck
