Damn, my boss just scheduled me for a meeting on Friday 5/5 that I can't skip, and for a software installation in Fresno on 5/8.

That weekend is now officially hosed for me.... not happy.

Even though I`m fairly new here me and Mrs Twins will make our presence at the summit.I will supply the first 30 pack to be buried at a secret spot on the hill. Its hard to carry much more than that and ski.If there are any discount vouchers left please PM me with info.Canyon lodge is closing on April 30th.Is anyone staying at MM Inn or in town somewhere? What should the official TGR MM summit beer be? Does anyone drink and ski? Am I an alcoholic? I need answers!

Umm, if an East Coaster was thinking about making the trip out, where would he start to look for lodging??

There are motels that are like $60/night. Condos are super cheap that time of year, some 2 bedrooms are $129/night. Go to http://www.visitmammoth.com and click on accomodations and be sure to check out the special lift/lodging packages on that site, too.

I'll be there with the PNW'ers. Flying into Reno Friday night and then flying back on Sunday night (or Monday morning).

YC- do you know if those vouchers are a better deal than an intrawest pass? I've got an edge card from Whistler that's good for 25% of tix (but it's only good for the passholder).

Squirrel - the vouchers are no good on the weekend, so you have to use your edge card, anyway...
So stoked the PNW is representing!

    Thumbs up

Just booked my flight to Reno and will be there for Friday and Saturday. Should have a boarding buddy coming up from LA to share a cheap hotel room, so lodging is squared away. Would love to score a voucher/discount ticket hook-up for Friday if possible.

Rode Mammy for several years and now flying from Seattle to hit it with the Mag-Minions...Kinda weird...Totally looking forward to meeting the Mag-Minions!!

Looking for lodging to share. Thursday thru Saturday nights. Is anyone organizing a maggot condo? That one Squirrel nabbed last year was pretty sweet.

I am working on this, I have access to employee stand-bys (maybe) _ I guess Reno would be the first choice to fly into, ya? Would choice #2 be Vegas or LA..? I would snag a cheap rental car and hope to hook up with some sort of lodging/tix..

Ontario ought to be #2...in more ways than one. But it's closer than LAX and you may find better airline deals flying in/out of there.

If you fly into Ontario you are looking at 315 miles give or take to Mammy. Easy 4 to 6 hour drive depending on traffic.

Thank you much for your efforts so far in getting this thing thrown together. Most of the minis have a list of who is going to be attending...Yoga, any chance you could create one here so we can see who all plans on being in Mammoth May 4-7th?

    peace,

This JONG will be there. Lodging is the question though, working on that. So far, looks like warmer, drier weather that w/e. Couldn't make it last year due to work (OT)... ms
