Great. This was supposed to happen 6 weeks ago. What's next? 4 feet in April?

We had nothing to do with it actually. I thought that the cam only took the large panorama of Tucks and Hunington that you link to on Wildcats page. I did realize that you got all of these other shots. I especially like being able to get a look at Gulf of Slides

The more I hear about this place the more I am motivated to go see it (never been to Mt Washington yet). I hope to get the family there this summer.

In the article posted by DaveTV it says the strongest wind gust ever recorded on earth was recorded there at 231 mph. Wow!

I liked the creepy article. I would love to work there for a season and totally freak myself out thinking about "The Presence."

Worth the trip. ...but if you do go, let me know. I can direct you to some of the hidden gems in the white's that shouldn't be missed if you're there. Mt Washington is awe-inspiring, but it's touristy - not much of a wilderness experience.

    Just as a data point.

It's a chilly 63 right now in Naples Fl. High of 79 today. Beach til noon, tee time at 2. Margaritas flow like water.

My boycott of EC winter continues.

    Cheers!

I would take -30 F any day over that.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.
