Think I'm gonna ski most of this week

Am waiting for a warranty on my board boots, and some new bindings. So I skied today down at Sundance. While it's not as rad as the Bird or as Soul-ly as Alta, it's a fun place. 'Specially when it's free and the warmest skiing in Northern Utah at around 6 degrees.

Anyhoo, Mrs. Frizzo's friend at the demo shop loaned me some boots for the day that actually fit, and it makes a bunch of difference. I had a good time trying to carve around on groomers and making shitty turns in the bumps.

So until my gear comes in I'm gonna ski. See how much I can progress. My goal by Thursday: Elevator shaft.

Not really. But anyhoo, I'll be the guy wearing 2-3 pair of socks.

    Heh.

I'll even try a rail on 'em if your tummy doesn't hurt.

Weren't you supposed to snowboard this season? This week's looking like the week...

    (This is a public call-out.)

sundance has one area (bowl) of any signifigance.
it is a fun area but as one of the only streep pitches on the mountain, it gets bumped yes.

plus alot of Sundancers are the Cali bumper crowd who still think it is 1987 & Bob is still handsome.

Frizz - oh yea, elevator shaft is a nice little shot. I learned to ski at Sundance, night time lesson. My dad took me up there one cold December night (my birthday) and I've been hooked since. I remember thinking "Oh wow, ELEVATOR SHAFT" but now it's just a nice little shot, steep and short. I need to get down there to Sundance once this year - on one of those Southern flows that nails the dance while the rest of the wasatch gets 2-4"
