    weekend injuries, report in...

Ugh, hate to say it, went out gaping with the wife and some friends today at keystone. Wound up with a bruised rib (tree), slight headache (same fucking tree, thank god for the helmet), and a strained (i hope) quad. Can't raise the leg foward without pulling feeling of discomfort on the upper part of my quad.

So I am just hear complaining. Heard that Vail got wailed with snow, friends called and said 24+inches in the back bowls. Was going to go up tomorrow, but it dont look good.

Man, with that much snow, go anyway and just take it easy. I have a fractured/bruised tibial plateau (the radiologist and the orthopedic surgeon can't reach a decision on fracture vs. bruise). If that fatty storm hits WA like it's supposed to (but it won't [/anti jinx]), I'm going anyway.

Broken collarbone with a pin through it...I think the bone has healed, but the pin poked its way through my shoulder and is sticking out.

Blister on the inside of my heel/foot from walking in my ski boots so much! (hiking, etc.)

Slammed my shin on a rock Saturday, but it quit bleeding and it doesn't feel too bad now..

The plan is to guide Evil E around East Vail tomorrow. It should be nothing short of epic.

Crinkle, you should nurse your vagina tonight and join us tomorrow! Also, Iskibc-you going to be around Vail tomorrow?

yikes, pin sticking through the shoulder?!?! ouch! any pics?

I will be around Vail tomorrow, but on a hut trip. Would love to join you and Evil on a venture back there, but I'm doing some training with some staff members at one of the 10th mountain huts. Have fun and take some pics.

Iski-no, he works out of Leadville. He maintains all the huts in the system around there, and it's his fulltime job.

I have to say, I have a torn rotator cuff, ripped bicep tendon (maybe) and a damaged axillary nerve, and yet still MY SHOULDER FEELS GREAT! I'm not kidding - it's the weirdest thing - three days in deep powder and my arm/shoulder hasn't felt this good in three months since I dislocated it. Guess I know the antidote to my ailments .

But sorry to all y'all that are hurting. That sucks .

This weekend I screwed-up something in my knee for the third time in a month--it's all this frickin powder, I can't stop myself from going out and skiing it. I go in for my follow-up visit this Wednesday. I'm gonna have the doc do the tests on my knee to see how much I've fubarred the surgery.

Bruised hip from typical boilerplate and no edge in the wilds of vermont. Also big my tongue quite hard when I fell walking to the car(completely sober also), and now I sound like one of the fab 5 from Queer Eye.

Blurred, I have no BC gear or experience. Plus with all this ice on my vaginal area I dont think I will be skiing tomorrow, probably snowboarding instead.

    Injuries, let's see...

Sore throat and scratchy voice caused by downing a fifth of J.D. at party last night.

Crunchy left knee from riding wind trainer in basement instead of hitting the slopes. (Due to minus 4,000 degree temps the last few days).

Severe depression watching everywhere else get bombed with snow while we freeze and rot up here in Canuckville.

Otherwise, I'm fine. How are you all?

I got a good case of flat butt. How you ask. With the freezing rain, then rain, then temps royally drop. Well the mtn is just blue ice. The whole thing. So after skiing three runs. Well I shouldn't say skiing. More like praying to God I hit some patch of snow so I could come to a stop. I went home and have sat on my ass doing nothing but drinking and watching football all day.

*note* bottle of vodka not involved this time. So you all are safe from an act of drunken lunacy. I hope
