I am coming into Telluride on Wednesday night and will be there through the weekend. I don't really know where I am sleeping. Any advice? PM me if you need a housesitter for your Telluride mansion for the weekend.

Send reidhresko a pm. He lived there for several years.
Camels Garden, right in town, right next to the gondi...they have a killer happy hour.
Camel's Garden is shweeet, altho pricy. The Johnstone Inn (right on Main st.) can be much cheaper (stayed there once for $99, including breakfast and two lift tix). Have also heard good things about the Hotel Telluirde.
Are we part of the solution, or are we part of the pollution? -M.F.
Another vote for the Camel Toe
Hotel Telluride is very nice, although expensive. When I stayed there last year I went through one of the travel websites (expedia or travelocity, can't remember) and saved about $70 a night. Best bed I've ever had in a hotel.Originally Posted by Flash
Don't know if I can afford to stay in town. I am a dishwasher for god sakes. What about outlying cheapies?

if you go to the last dollar saloon all you'll see is a bunch of rich dweebs looking around at each other going "where is everybody, I thought this place was cool and funky"
I've stayed at the oak street inn, it is more or less a hostel with private rooms, not too shabby. I think the prices were somewhere in the low 30s per night.
Victorian Inn is fairly cheap. Pretty close to the gondola as well.
So what area is the comp going to be in anyway?
