Which Book is a Better Read?

I coworker just gave me two books to read. Into The Wild and Into Thin Air. I'm curious which one you guys and gals think is better. I started Into Thin Air first since that book has been on my to read list for quite some time. I'm not much of a non fiction reader, but this book seems interesting.

jeez. Obviously you're baiting by doing this with the same writer at the same period in his life. So you have to look at both as one. He has an awfully cynical view of the world, but chooses to write about it charactered by wildly reaching members of the bourgeois. So these are works of a newer journalism. Like Junger's book. Sort of raw data.

Into the Wild will probably make you think more interesting thoughts than Into Thin Air, or at least that's what I found. McCandless's form of experience is a bit different from and raises more interesting questions than the dull hubris of those climbers in Into Thin Air. that's what I thought about the two.

what Uncle Crud said. Into the Wild was a more interesting book. You could ditch them both and read Touching the Void.
