    Mad at the weather

Okay, here in the Northeast it's warm and rainy. The forecasts are for it to get real cold this week, but little or no snow is predicted to fall . DAMMIT How come the only precipitaion we're seeing is rain? Why can't we have another Nor'Easter and get a nice coat of fresh snow?

Because all the jet stream goodness is hitting the left coast.

agreed. the freezing temps will make for good snowmaking though, so at least more terrain will open up.

The temps are really cold too. One temp that seems to stand out a lot is zero. (which actually blows because my first race of the season is on friday night and the temps are gonna be below zero so I will be freezing my balls off on what will most likely be a bullet-proof course. )

Yeah, unfortunately the rain has washed away almost all the base depth, especially in the mid atlantic. At least this makes not being able to ski for a month a little tolerable.

It is absolutely horrendous. They had minimal snow BEFORE today's rain... I can only guess how crappy it is now.
