Maggots joining us at Jackson, Targhee, Big Sky, Moonlight?

In just a few days we'll be skiing Jackson, Targhee, Big Sky, Moonlight and possibly Bridger for our annual trip. Anyone wanna try to hook up? Lemme know. The dates are Jan 17-21.

I will be in Jackson from the 15th - 19th. Probably do Jackson on
Saturday and Monday and Targhee on Sunday. Will have a group of 4-6 but would love to hook and make a few turns one of those days.

Let me know if this coordinates with your schedule.

Could be perfect timing. We'll either be at Jackson or Targhee on the 17th--whichever has the best snow at that time.

I highly recommend skipping Moonlight until next year, instead go to Bridger. It is unbelievably better and much more fun. I'll be gone, but a Bridger guide makes a big difference when coming here....

Sorry dude, I'll be skiing there no matter what condition Moonlight is in...but thanks for the advice anyway. I have an irrepressible habit of ALWAYS skiing any resort that's new to me if I'm within a few hours' drive. I can't help it. I'm compelled to know how it skis.
    I know--it's a pathetic sickness, but I get along...

P.S. I'll be in Chicago next month and I'm looking for the best ski experience within a few hours of O'Hare. Anyone.........

    Hi,

I will be leaving Montreal on Sunday the 11th (driving). I expect to arrive in Jacskon on the 14th and will be there for 4-5 days skiing the Hole and Targhee. Since I'm alone, I would love to have partners to ski with. I prefer expert/steep terrain.

Will most likely be staying at some el cheapo motel in Jackson (Super 8 or something like that.)

    PM with coordinates if interested.

    Regards,

    Steve

I wasn't talking snow conditions, I was talking terrain. Next year they are expanding. Ski Pebble Creek if you haven't already, they have an 80" base right now. I love that mountain.

Slippy- Terrain is what I meant as well. I'll be skiing whatever they've got at Moonlight, regardless of the terrain condition or lack of same. I'm psycho like that. I'll wait 'til Jan of '05 to ski the new and improved Moonlight.
BTW, I like Pebble too. We had a little discussion about small areas that rock last year on Powmag (too bad that whole thread is lost forever). Since I won't be near the Utah/Idaho border, that won't be someplace I'll be skiing this trip.

Freakof- At this point, it looks like it will be Big Sky Monday and Tuesday, with Moonlight Wednesday AM. No plans for Bridger unless it gets dumped on one of those days and BS gets nothing.

Truth- I hope you'll be in town to hook up with us. It's a fun group. I'll PM you too with our current plan.

If you let me know for sure whether you're going, we can get you $16 off for each day we're there (Mon-Wed).

RedB- Even as unpicky as I am, I think you mighta found one I'm not too interested in. Got anything else you'd recommend? Truth?
BTW, I've got the date now. It'll be President's Day that I'm looking to ski some of the Chicago area's finest.
