What type of glue is safe to use on Goggle Foam?

The foam portion of my goggles (that presses against your face) is slowly separating from the goggle frame, is there a recommended type of glue to use reglue it?

Why I ask is that I know super glue (Epoxy) can react badly with certain types of foam.

    Thanks.

you can try contact cement but you will end up getting super frustrated.

I have these problems too.....I just replace the goggles.

Contact cement?...so that doesn't react badly/eat the foam up or anything.

I'd be interested in an answer as well. Peeling foam since like a stupid reason to drop cash on new goggles.

They are Spy Solider goggles...used maybe 18 days tops.
I am outside the 1 year warranty.

Its a real small section of it that is separating, I think 3-4 small dabs of glue can fix it.

I think there was some information on how to replace goggle foam in a thread about dogs destroying people's stuff. I have no idea who started it, or what it was called- but it wasn't much more than a month ago.

fixing your goggles is easy. Throw those p.o.s in the trash. Go to www.smithoptics.com and order up some quality optics. Enjoy.

I have not tried this so I may be talking out of my ass but...
I would try silicone sealant. It will definitely bond to the foam without dissolving it. It bonds well to most plastics. And the big plus is that it remains flexible so it wont crack off when the goggle frame bends.

    1. Get some epoxy
    2. Apply a thin layer of epoxy along goggle foam
    3. Press firmly against face to ensure proper fit
I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.

If you use spray adhesive, remove the lenses first.

I have used spray adhesive with good results. Spray it on some wax paper, in a paper cup, or other collection method. than use a q-tip to apply.
