    Hang in there, amiga. Having tons of experience with pain killers, all that I can tell you is that they're not always helpful. Losing sleep or being edgy and what not can sometimes be more harmful than good. Try going without if you can and save them for future hangovers when they're really needed. Best of luck.

    As far as the bone appearing to stick strait up, some angulation of the fracture is normal and you will continue to feel things shift for a bit longer. If the angulation is very bad, then maybe they would consider surgery, but my guess is that eve thgou it feels to you like it sticks strait up, in reality it probably is not quite that bad if viewed from the x-ray.
