    Time

I am tired of the statement "There's another 5 minutes of my time I can't have back"

Solely because you didn't have it to begin with. There is nothing so vague and stupid as the ownership of time.

The future is a place that is ever ahead, the past is something behind. So if you spend 5 minutes looking at something those 5 minutes don't exist any more and you can't borrow 5 minutes in the future to trade against something in the past.

As well as the fact that the future is limitless and by that same token non-existant. I can't get to the future because by getting there it turns to the present. The same applies to the past. See paradox.

As a matter of fact you can't actually even divide that decision making, into a second as you can't accurately predict when or at what time the decision making happened. What about the milisecond, a second below that?

Did it happen at.... 12:05 .04.85.78.23.53? It's an ever presenting system of minutia representing by drawings of items supposed to represent something that isn't tangible at all. 12:05 could mean the same thing as AA:34 or perhaps Zimbabwe. If everyone in the world called that particular moment Zimbabwe, then we would all think of time as in Zimbabwe, or maybe even after Zimbabwe.

Terminology is the greatest hinderance of all.

    Example - Zeno

In this fashion it would be more appropriate to say that there isn't anything which is a waste of time. Thus there isn't anything that is or isn't a waste of time.

    ALSO

That means that time cannot be precious, treasured, or valued. It can't be wasted, hurried or danced away.

and you cannot, most CERTAINLY HAVE IT BACK!

Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

HEY, if you can somehow get to the past or the future without invalidating it and making it the present, I want to see that.

    You assume time is linear.

I don't think he's assuming it's linear. More like monotonic.

Remorse can be ubiquitous. Then again, it is ironicaly hypocritcal to be remorseful of time ill-spent as remorse is, in fact, time ill-spent.

Everyone has a birthday on the leap year. It's the leap DAY that's unusual.

"The main problem with this great obsession for Saving Time is very simple: you can't save time. You can only spend it. But you can spend it wisely or foolishly. The Bisy Backson has practically no time at all, because he's too busy wasting it by trying to save it. And by trying to save every bit of it, he ends up wasting the whole thing."
