I'm heading up to Jackson this weekend and was wondering if anyone has a firsthand account of conditions in the BC? The way it's looking right now, I'm hoping in the next few days it will slowly pile up.

It is indeed slowly piling up. Should be just super dandy on most aspects. Enjoy!!!
Nice, exactly what I wanted to hear!
Thanks much for the update.

Be careful!! If it keeps snowing avy danger will be pretty high. There was a week of sunny weather which turned all southerly aspects to crust, and now it has been snowing pretty steadily for a while, creating pretty unstable conditions. I skied in Granite canyon the other day and the snow was great. But you could tell that everything not northerly would be pretty unstable if there was more snow. check jhavalanche.org
how are the bowls like cody, randavous, and ten sleep, will be there this wknd, hoping for powder
It was called the eighties, Ford was president, Nixon was in the white house, and FDR was running the country into the ground.
Did Four Shadows two days ago (as storm was rolling in). Was variable - some pow down low on the apron w/ wind slab in the couloir. Same on the lookers left (Cody Bowl). Nice stashes still left on northern aspects in the draws. Storm started warm which should help with bonding of new layers.
Heard 4 Shadows slid very recently (today?). Trying to get more info. Be careful out there.
Stream of skiers in Central today.
