Aerials Qualifying first jump -- NBC showed Bergy, Pack, and St. Onge fuck up. Then showed Peterson do a solid jump and showed Dashinski of Belarus stomp the shit out of his first jump, and that's it... I'm rooting for all the Belarus guys, since that's where I'm originally from, and that's all I got to see. I'll be posting again all pissed off, I'm sure, three fucking hours from now, 'cause they'll show the goddamned figure skating for the longest time, then go back for the second jump, which I'm sure they are going to fuck up as well. Fuck those fucking fucks in their fucking asses!!!...
Oh, btw, Women's SG is on, I'm pretty sure all they are gonna show is Kildow/Mancuso/Kostelic and Paerson, who'll probably win and that would be it also, fuck those fucking fucks!

They didn't even show the defending Olympic Champion (Valenta) or the most decorated US Aerialist of all time in the second jump (Bergoust). And of course no number one qualifier (some chinese guy) or any one of the three Belorussians that qualified (2, 4, 10). AND THEIR FUCKING COVERAGE
I have been tormented by the terrible Olympics coverage for years. I knew it would be like this. I can't even be bothered to watch the events. Lucky for us here in Seattle, we get Canada's CBC. They have been showing a lot of stuff live, including men's freestyle moguls. Still, only a fraction of the finals for that, none of the quals.
The whole problem is that the coverage rights are completely restrictive. No one else can show anything in the US. Period. Same with all the countries.
For comparison, NBC is showing an "all time record" 410 hours of Olympics footage on NBC, MSNBC, etc. CBC is showing over 1000 hours. Way to go NBC, you are so incredible.
