    attaching sts tail kit

So i've got some ascension skins and now i'm putting on the sts tail kit, I've got instruction for attaching them to the skins, but having never seen an sts tail kit put on a ski i can't figure it out. I'd like to know how it connects to the ski before i cut my skins. Thanks.

good but before you cut and bang...

Did you get the Ascension, not the G3 sts kit?

If so, good. If you got the G3 kit, STOP! I hate with a passion the one G3 sts that I put on to replace a broken clip fix. I've used the both, they are not the same. The Ascension sts clip to tail attachment is behind the fulcrum point of where you'd pull on the clip to lever it over the tail to keep the skin tight; the G3 connection point is PAST the lever point, meaning as you try to lever the clip on with some tension, you succeed in only pulling the metal clip right back out of the tail rubber hole. Totally fucking stupid. Further, for those of you who are about to tell me to put the metal clip on the tail of the ski first, then pull the rubber down on the back of the tail to get tension - uh, hello, McFly????!!! Yeah, you're really gonna get a lot of tension action on the skin as you pull a RUBBER piece on the underside of the ski, past the place where it wraps around the tail. Riiiight. Stupidist POS design ever.

    Ascension STS = brilliant.
    G3 STS = lunacy.

I've got the ascension sts kit, 1 skin successfully done, those getting those rivets in without the proper nail size, block of wood or an anvil was tough.
