    Jeremy Bloom...NFL star?

Jeremy Blooms goal in the past months has been taking the gold in Torino. However according to him, this is second in choice of his true dream...playing in the NFL. Bloom can run a 4.25-40 which is as fast many pro players. However being only '5 "9 and 170 does he have the skill to overcome his size difference? Sure there are some pro stars that have been his size that have dominated the football field but does he really have the skill to be drafted after months and months of off training? I will be truely be amazed if he is drafted as reciever, but can see him playing punt return, kickoff return etc. I don't think it is a wise decision for a pro team to draft someone that hasn't had their priorities set only on football for the past months and years. There are many awesome college players that are clearly better than Bloom that have been training for the majority of their lives that are still not givin a contract. So who thinks that he has a chance for the NFL and who thinks he should stick to the mountain?

I think you should learn about paragraphs. First things first.

To answer the question, he needs 20 pounds of muscle (30 would be a lot better), while keeping his speed. Can he do it? Maybe.

My guess is that he's a late round draft pick, returns kicks, and maybe sees the field in 4 WR sets. Maybe.

Bloom is a freakish athlete. He could do it, for sure. Same guy who skis all winter, doesn't run, then comes up without training and smokes every high school runner he was up against in the state of CO.

Bloom ran a 4.25 40. There are maybe 2 or 3 guys that can do that in the NFL. Bloom will be there. He won't really be a star but he'll return kicks and occasionaly be in on 4 receiver sets.

You guys don't get it. You don't need size to return kicks, you need speed. He will play in the league, run a few back, and eventually quit because he is sick of sitting on the bench all but three or four plays a game.

He was an average receiver at best in college. Didn't even start at CU. He could be one of the greatest bump skiers ever, but he'll never be more than an average special teams guy in the NFL.

Dante Hall is overrated. At least two of those record tying run backs should not have counted.

Bloom one of the best as moguls????? Has he ever medaled in the olympics??? Sure he has been the world cup overall points leader a couple of times, but when it comes down to playing in the big games, this guy chokes everytime.

Fuck jeremy bloom, he's just another jonny moseley.

Oh and to the dude that punched him in the face that is good shit. At new year's party in SLC before the 2002 games, I puked on his shoe. Not really on purpose, but still.... And he didn't retaliate.

It's funny how no one likes that guy at CU, I've never seen such a great athlete being hated by his own school before, but I guess that just says something about his personality.
